The concept of supporting schools by offering an outsourced relief teacher service was revolutionary in the mid 1990's, as was the responsibility for self-management which was required of schools.
An enterprising service to assist with self-management of schools and to foster the professionalism of high performing relief teachers was then established in the form of Resource Ed Personnel Pty Ltd.
The directors had an extensive background in teaching and educational administration and believed strongly that a competitive advantage would be achieved by the provision of an innovative, efficient and reliable placement service to schools and teachers.
