  Ian Smith
Managing Director

A former primary school teacher with 23 years of teaching, administrative and IT experience, Ian taught in a variety of schools ranging from Government Primary schools to Independent P-12 schools. As a Director since inception, Ian has been a driving force behind the exceptional growth and development of Resource Ed Personnel as we know it today. He continues to develop partnerships throughout the education industry which bring benefits to schools and teachers on a local and international scale. 
 
   
 
  Peter Hayne
Finance Director

Peter joined Resource Ed Personnel in 1999 following 30 years of commercial banking with both the State and Commonwealth banks. His approachable and knowledgable manner has allowed schools, teachers and the company itself to benefit from his insights. As Finance Director Peter continues to offer valued liaison, advice and assistance at all levels of the company’s operations. 
 
   
 
  Daryl Brooks
Schools Director

Following ten years of principalship in Melbourne and as a founding Director, Daryl offers Resource Ed Personnel  a wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding in all facets of school leadership, HR and relief teacher management. He has taught in Victorian country and metropolitan settings, in the UK and as an International Teaching Fellow in USA. As Schools’ Director Daryl has introduced valuable initiatives to the Teacher Quality and Performance Management areas for relief teachers and offers them a range of support services in the areas of Victorian curriculum, teacher effectiveness and career development. He is a strong advocate for international teaching and is currently building professional links for visiting, beginning, newly arrived and returning teachers, or those new to relief teaching, to access more targetted and timely professional learning. Daryl is currently the chairperson of the Teacher Agency Network of Victoria, the industry-recognised professional association of teacher agency owners and operators. 
 
   
 
  Dianne Moloney
HR and Office Administration

Dianne has brought to Resource Ed Personnel a diverse array of administrative, financial and Human Resources experience and skills. Her diligent and caring manner permits her to deal with all day to day HR functions of the company in a friendly, knowledgeable and thorough way.  As our first administrative point of contact, Dianne embodies the desire of Resource Ed Personnel to see each of its teachers gain ample access and opportunity to progress towards realising their individual professional ambitions. 
 
   
 
  Rob Clark
Schools Consultant

Rob brings his extensive experience and expertise as a teacher, principal and communicator to Resource Ed Personnel as a Consultant to assist in the vital areas of professional learning, Victorian curriculum, teacher performance and professional support. Rob presents the Resource Ed Personnel Relief Teaching Seminars to teachers new to Melbourne or new to relief teaching, and will be assisting with regular Staff Meetings for our teachers as well. Rob also provides valued liaison between Area Managers, teachers and our administration team.
