| Interactive Whiteboard Training for Relief Teachers |

| Resource Ed will soon be announcing details of training for relief teachers in the use of Smart Board technologies. We have installed our own in our Ferntree Gully Head Office which is specifically intended for relief teachers to access. Participants will receive the knowlege and develop the skills required to access the technology in the classrooms that they visit as replacement teachers.
We plan on the first sessions being offered during the September holidays. Keep your eyes open on the Prefessional Learning page of this web site for details on how to register. Sessions will also be arranged in other parts of Melbourne, in host schools, as soon as possible. |

| Various providers are offering a course of 3 hours duration which covers both Risk Management and Prevention and First Aid Management of Allergic Reactions. It has a 3 year validity and may be available to Resource Ed teachers (as an affiliate of TANVic, the Teacher Agency Network of Victoria) at a special rate. Generally speaking the courses range between $50 and $65.
