You will meet other newly registered teachers and learn about your salary arrangements, online availabililty management, schools expectations and programs, Area Manager support, contract opportunities and much more, as well as take home a wealth of classroom resources, ideas and activities to help get you started.

Valuing Relief Teaching MULGRAVE Tuesday 16th MARCH 

The value of the contribution of the Relief Teacher can be too easily taken for granted in the day to day "busy-ness" of school management and operations.
This program provides an analysis of the importance of the relief teacher's work, provides tools to gain acknowledgement and feedback from the schools in which they work, and offers a rare opportunity for participants to reflect on their unique capacities and the value they add.

"Box of Tricks" Workshop IV for the Relief Teacher - Thursday 8th APRIL 2010 

What a great way to liaise with Relief Teaching colleagues! Bring just one activity to share, and build your relief teaching repertoire with a multitude of ideas, resources, tools, techniques and activities that are reliable favourites of others. This is a great program for generous and resourceful relief teachers who like to add versatility and breadth to their Box of Tricks, and who wish to have the right strategy or activity at hand for any circumstance! Morning tea, lunch and all materials provided. Participants will also hear from a panel of experienced relief teachers, each of whom offers a personal story about their various accomplishments as professional relief teachers. The registration fee is $85 for non-Resource Ed Personnel relief teachers, and $65 for teachers with a Resource Ed ID number.
